The movie adaptation of Divergent by Veronica Roth has been slowly but surely progressing over the last couple of months. With the teaser trailer premiering and movie posters released, it is steadily feeling like the movie is nearly ready. The movie premiere is right around the corner; however fans are anxious and finding it hard to wait.
The first Divergent movie trailer was released about a month ago. The teaser debuted at MTV’s VMAs on August 27th , introduced by Shailene Woodley, Theo James, and Miles Teller who are portraying characters in the movie. The trailer showed scenes such as main character Tris during the capture the flag sequence, Four’s fear landscape, and Tris again jumping out of the train during initiation. The posters released show Tris and Four sporting their Dauntless tattoos.
To sum it up, the movie is steadily on its way to production. Divergent fans are anticipating the movie premiere on March 21st, 2014. Seeing the teaser trailer and the movie posters only contributes to our excitement. It will definitely be an anticipates film to watch.

Alex Trebek Penalizes Jeopardy Contestant for Pronouncing Problems
Alex Trebek once again did not give someone points because of a minor mistake on Jeopardy. On Tuesday October 1st 2013, Rich Hansen, a contestant on Jeopardy Tuesday night, picked the category “Name That TV Role.” The question was “Seinfeld: Julia Louis-Dreyfus." Fidelito Cortes buzzed in ASAP but at the last second said “UH-laine,” as stated by Alex Trebek. Then Hansen answered “Benes,” which is Julia Louis-Dreyfus surname in the role she plays in Seinfeld. The judges barely accepted the answer. Trebek stated “It’s EE-laine not UH-laine. That’s why the judges ruled against you on that one.”
After that night there were not a lot of positive responses about the bad pronunciation. Many people were saying the judges were racists. There were a lot of bad comments on twitter.

Jolly The US government shuts down before the airing of sherlock
Sherlock, a television series based on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes detective stories produced by BBC (British Broadcasting Company), has once again disappointed fans with the release date of the third season. The show first aired back in 2010, and to this day only two seasons have been released.
Rumors have circulated concerning the release of a Christmas special this holiday season, but that is exactly what they were: rumors. Sue Vertue, the producer, has debunked the false information with this tweet: "Sorry to squash the rumour but we haven't shot a #Sherlock Xmas special I'm afraid.” There was also speculation of the crime show returning this Halloween, but as more and more of October passes and the lack of official Sherlock news, it is obvious this is false.
The only facts in existence at the moment is the BBC announcement that post-production will be continuing until way into November, and this is essential because UK networks normally do not schedule air-dates until the product has been completed. With this information in mind, it is logical to assume that Sherlock will return to the screens in 2014. Actor Martin Freeman, playing Doctor John Watson, had revealed a supporting detail on the BAFTA red carpet: The show will premiere in the December of this year or the January of 2014.
Fellow actor Benedict Cumberbatch, playing Sherlock, revealed some additional happy news. The television series will be released with minimal delay, unlike the last six episodes where audiences in the US and UK had to wait months. He also confirmed that there will be a fourth and fifth season. His preference of season three over season two may also assist fans in enduring the wait, because this most likely means the third season is even better.

Kings of Leon’s Mechanical Bull and Tour News
After the release of their sixth album, Kings of Leon have reached the top of the Official Album Chart. It has been ten years since their debut, Youth & Young Manhood. Mechanical Bull was released on September 23 and since the release it has been purchased 71,000 times solely in the UK. The album has surpassed the sales of Drake and even Jessie J’s newest releases.
The brothers recently cancelled early US tour dates due to frontman Caleb Followill experiencing exhaustion and vocal issues. They will begin the tour early 2014 to further promote Mechanical Bull. Rising tension among the band members eventually caused an indefinite hiatus in 2011, cancelling 26 tour dates. But problems have since been resolved, and the new album was recorded. No concert dates in 2014 have been announced.
The band also teamed up with John Mayer, Stevie Wonder, and several other big names to bring awareness to poverty around the world at the Global Citizen Festival on the 28th of September. The six-hour event that took place in New York’s Central Park brought up topics such as the use of resources and gun control. Kings of Leon opened up the mega concert, promoting songs off of their newest album.

Amanda Bynes
Amanda Bynes has recently left the UCLA Medical Center, where she was being treated for a severe mental illness, and relocated to the Malibu Rehab Center. Just three weeks ago, Bynes was admitted to The Canyon, a celebrity facility that specializes in treating mental disorders and addiction. She still has not interacted with other residents or left her room too often.
Bynes’ psychiatric problems started after setting a small fire in the driveway of her parent’s home. The celebrity was then placed on a temporary psychiatric hold on July 22nd, however a court extended the time period 30 more days by her doctor’s request on August 8th.

Neon Lights, Camera, Action!
Demi has finally announced the launching of her Neon Lights tour! This tour will be featuring Cher Lloyd and girl group's Fifth Harmony and Little Mix! Both of those groups were involved with X-Factor. Little Mix won the UK version of the show back in 2011 and Fifth Harmony won 3rd place on the US version of the show in 2012.
Now that Demi is a judge on X-Factor the tour will not be started for a while, giving all the acts plenty of time to prepare for the shows ahead. It’s set to begin February of 2014 in Vancouver. This girl powered tour was named after her most recent single of her latest album. The self titled album will be the support of the tour.
All the tour dates have been announced already with stops across the country in such cities as Anaheim, CA; Houston; Atlanta; East Rutherford, NJ; Uniondale, NY; Cleveland; Chicago; and Nashville. Tickets for the show will go on sale October 5th. From the looks of it the show is not one you want to miss, get your tickets quick, before they sell out!
